First House Crisis Intervention

Due to the unpredictable nature of problems that result from drug and alcohol addiction, it is critical that our clients and their families receive an adequate amount of support both before and after detoxification.  At First House Detox, we understand that in addition to providing quality care for our clients while they are detoxing from active addiction to drugs and alcohol we have an opportunity to help position our clients and their loved ones to effect long term change.  The cyclical nature of drug and alcohol addiction demands that the patterns that lead to relapse be altered.  First House Detox Services can help re-establish healthy life patterns for both the addict and their loved ones.  From the very first phone call trained staff at First House can begin to expertly guide an individual with substance abuse detoxification issues through the recovery process.  The following services are part of the First House commitment to care.

1.  Client Intervention: A trained substance abuse counselor can make substantial progress towards convincing an individual to seek treatment or detoxification services for drug and alcohol dependency. As part of our services First House employs counseling professionals who provide intervention assistance for drug and alcohol addiction that will often aid a person seeking help.

2.  Family Counseling: First HouseDetox will provide the level of expertise needed to assist a family in getting a substance dependant person into treatment. First house will assist with resolving all of the issues surrounding active addiction. Restoring balance to families that are affected by substance abuse is part of the First House commitment to care.
