What to Expect at First House Detox

Upon intake clients will provide staff with a complete medical and personal history . The information you give us will help us to determine your immediate and long term needs. You can explain your cycle of abuse and your current detox expectations. We at First House Detox understand the importance of listening to our clients during this difficult time in their lives.

We want to make certain our clients feel welcomed. Our friendly atmosphere is conducive to making our guests feel as stress free as possible. After intake you will be assigned to a comfortable, clean room, where you can sleep, read or just relax. What to Bring

Pack as light as possible, you will have less to keep track of. Bring comfortable basic clothes for our temperate climate. First House provides all meals (special requests honored wherever possible). Please note the following:

•  Most stays are for between 3-5 days (laundry access is provided)

•  Smoking is allowed in designated areas.

•  Personal music devices are allowed. No laptops.

•  Cell Phones are not allowed (in special circumstances phone will be facilitated)
